Unique Blood - Through rigorous experimentation and the implementation of the C.T.T.V. D.N.A. surgery on day 6,570, the vessel inherits the traits of unique blood types it consumes. We have successfully been able to withdraw a sample from the vessel after feeding from a werewolf. Though he exhibited the werewolf's traits, any attempt to pull a sample for transfer was moot. We will continue utilizing the usual methodology for transfer purposes and have limited the supernatural prey we present to it. It is likely that the vessel has already caught on to our hesitancy when feeding it larger prey. We will continue feeding it smaller wildlife keeping in mind the traits it may draw from.Day 95,245
Healing Factor - The vessel's innate ability to heal has diminished over the many years of testing and punishments. Today, we have outfitted it with the healing factor of a seraphim that the doctor subdued some time ago. There has been some pushback with this decision from the board of directors, but Dr. Dorian reassured them that this was necessary for the operation's continued success and it should impose no substantial threat to the project.Update: It seems that seraphim blood was not enough to heal the vessel's pre-existing injuries. Reading and Tracking of Blood - Over the last few decades, the vessel has began making the research team uncomfortable. Through continued exposure to the vessel, it has memorized our... scent. More specifically, the scent of our blood. It has seemingly attempted to intimidate our colleagues by recalling our forefathers that held the position before the responsibility of studying the vessel fell to us. The vessel has accurately recalled up to ten generations of our respective bloodlines. Furthermore, it has intimate knowledge of our locations no matter where on the compound we are. After careful consideration, the compound has began renovations to combat the vessel's knowledge of the layout. Walls, exits and barricades will be moved every thirty days. We lost a researcher to the vessel today. This is the first incident within the last 350 years. Since the researchers' qualities are derived from the vessel, it seems that it wanted us to know that we were not exempt from anguish at its hands. When the researcher passed the vessel's prey through the door, it grabbed him. That was all it did. It did not bite him, it did not break skin, it just... withdrew the life essence from the researcher.We speculate that anyone that has the vessel's D.N.A. in them is subject to RETRANSFER at will. In doing so, the vessel re-assumed the qualities that researcher possessed. The vessel did not fight back when we subdued it to withdraw the quality again. It's toying with us... Shifting - The vessel has displayed a new form to take. It appears that it has either just discovered or always hid that it could disperse into a cloud of black smoke. We have studied a few of its forms; wolf, bats and a serpent but, we have never been privy to this one. We have previously installed Aspect Suppression Systems in his chest, but we are hypothesizing that something failed to continue functionality. Much to our chagrin, the vessel's healing factor is impeding our ability to operate on it. Every cut we made closed near immediately. For that reason, security measures are rising once more.

The vessel has been outfitted with a few qualities that the Doctor wanted to reserve in storage. We intend to replicate the abilities synthetically. If this proves successful we can catalog the aspects of the supernatural, replicate them at will and never have to worry about the need for a vessel again.Against the best interest of the researchers overseeing this ordeal, we gave the vessel the following traits from Dr. Dorian himself.A.)
